Het Plantenhuis
Het Plantenhuis is a plant shelter, located at Lou Oudenoord in the old Concordia building. Fem, the owner, adopted her first house plants from a deceased lady. More and more plants followed, which she found on the street or were donated to her. Her home slowly changed into a plant shelter. Since the opening in 2014, asylum plants have been coming and going. More than 3,000 plants have already been!
If you want to adopt a houseplant, you can just walk in. Fem will have a look with you whether there is a suitable homeless houseplant available. A donation is requested for each plant. And, do you have a houseplant that you no longer can care for? You can bring it to the Plantenhuis!

Le Jardin
Le Jardin is a restaurant, where you can eat delicious food, while sitting in an urban jungle. Vegetables and herbs are the base of the kitchen, and everything that is used is preferably local grown and in season. But the restaurant also contains a super cute plant shop. There you will find house plants, hanging plants, cacti and dried flowers. You can also find the most beautiful pots and vases there.
