Do plants never survive in your home, despite of your good intentions? Unfortunately not everyone is born with a magical green thumb. But don’t give up hope! Just have a look at other plants instead. Because no plant is the same, and that also applies to the care they need. To help you, we listed five plants that are hard to kill. Trust us, even you won’t be able to kill them. 😉
Cactus
Cacti are notoriously hard-to-kill plants. They need to be watered once or twice a month and prefer bright light. But don’t place them direct sunlight, because they can actually get sunburnt.
Orchidee
The orchid is one of the most popular indoor potted plants. They don’t need a lot of attention, and aren’t big water consumers either. During summer they only need to be watered once a week, and during the winter even less: once every ten days is sufficient.

Pilea Peperomioides
The cute Pilea Peperomioides are generally easy to keep alive and need to be treated like succulents. They thrive when the soil dries out completely between waterings. Pileas love bright and indirect light; too much direct sunlight will burn the leaves.
Succulents
These waxy, geometric plants come in a lot of varieties. The thick leaves of succulents store water, so they only require weekly watering. And during the winter even less is fine! Always wait until the soil is dry, before watering them again. And never place them in direct sunlight.
Yucca
The Yucca plant is sometimes called the “No Water Plant”, because it will grow in most conditions and requires minimal care. They have low water requirements and are somewhat drought tolerant. Yucca plants fare best in bright light situations and should therefore be placed near windows, to take advantage of natural light.
