How plants can help to reduce December stress
Plants have a positive effect on your physical health. They filter the air from unhealthy substances and convert them into clean oxygen. They also fight dry air and are stress relievers. Various studies have shown that people surrounded by plants are less stressed than people in an environment without plants.
So placing plants (and a Christmas tree!) in your house, is a good start. But also start using your hands! By being busy with plants, you automatically become calm. So check your plants on dead leaves, water them, remove dust from them, and repot if necessary. These are very satisfying tasks, because they’re easy, don’t last too long, and will make plants more beautiful as a result. Even if you only do it ten minutes a day, you’ll see it works!
